- The Konzerthaus is located close to the city center of Freiburg
- Freiburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) is directly across from the Konzerthaus and can easily be reached on foot in just a few minutes.
- The venue is also very well connected by public transport. The nearest tram stops are Stadttheater (tram lines 1–5) and Hauptbahnhof (tram lines 1–4), both just a short walk from the Konzerthaus.
- For navigation, Google Maps will provide reliable directions to the venue.

By Train
Freiburg is located on the Intercity Express (ICE) /Intercity (IC) rail line connecting Frankfurt – Karlsruhe – Offenburg – Freiburg – Basel. Direct trains travel to Freiburg from all the major city centers in Germany as well as Basel and Zurich in Switzerland. From Strasbourg, France, a good rail connection operates via Offenburg.

Motorway A5 Frankfurt-Karlsruhe-Basel exit Freiburg Mitte – the route is signposted. Motorway A81 Stuttgart-Singen and B31 Donaueschingen, Titisee-Neustadt. Pass Freiburg on Schwarzwaldstraße in the direction of the motorway feeder road Mitte – the approach is signposted.

By Public Transport
The Konzerthaus Freiburg is easily accessible by public transport. Freiburg’s tram network consists of five lines. The nearby “Stadttheater” stop, just a few minutes’ walk from the venue, is served by tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The “Hauptbahnhof” (Central Station) stop is also within walking distance and is served by tram lines 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Public transport in Freiburg is operated by VAG Freiburg. Journey planning is available via the VAG website and VAG app, while Google Maps generally provides reliable public transport directions as well. Please note that the VAG website is currently available in German only. The VAG app can be switched to English in the settings, although some content may remain in German.
Tickets can be purchased directly from ticket machines on board the trams or via the App.
